New York Rangers: Can They Keep Streak Going at Heritage Night at the Garden?

Tonight, the New York Rangers will host an original six rival, the Boston Bruins. The Rangers and Bruins met earlier in the season, the Rangers winning the game 3-2 in Boston.

The Rangers will unveil their Heritage Alternate Jersey for the first time in a regular season game tonight.

The brand new jersey reads "New York" down the center, diagonally, and holds an "85th Anniversary" patch on the shoulder. But the best part of the jersey is arguably the numbers that are stitched onto the inside of the jersey. Each retired number in Rangers history owns a spot on the Jersey; very nice.

Some teams believe alternate jerseys are good luck. For instance, the Minnesota Wild began a win-streak last season while wearing their alternate jersey.

Maybe the same will happen for the Rangers.

The Rangers are bringing an impressive three-game win streak into tonight's showdown; which consists of overtime wins against the Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins, and an impressive 8-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday afternoon.

Can the Rangers keep the win streak going against the Bruins?
