The New Jersey Devils simply outplayed the Philadelphia Flyers.

Behind the tandem of Travis Zajac (two powerplay goals) and Kyle Palmeri (a goal and two assists), the Devils cruised to a 4-1 victory over their Metropolitan division rivals.

It was the Devils fourth victory in five games, according to Rich Chere of the Star-Ledger and NJ.com

Zajac and Palmeri both had highlight-reel goals. Zajac scored on a backhand from the slot and Palmeri unleashed a wrister that went top shelf above Flyers' left-handed goalie Steve Mason's blocker (video from @NHL).

While the Devils only won by three, a super effort from Mason kept it close. The Devils opened up the first period with 14 shots on goal, but were unable to score.
