Nashville Predators: Patric Hörnqvist Re-Signs for Three Years

According to Swedish news site Aftonbladet, Patric Hörnqvist, the 23-year-old winger for the Nashville Predators, has re-signed with the team. He will be making $9 million over three years.

Hörnqvist broke out last season scoring 30 goals and 51 points in 80 games. He lead the team in goals and tied for the team lead in points.

Although the price seems a bit steep for a one-time 30-goal scorer (compare it to Matt Moulson and Bryan Little's contracts), re-signing Hörnqvist was key for the Predators who lack a strong offense.

The Predators have now invested a pretty penny in Patric Hörnqvist, who they hope could help spell the end of their offensive woes.
