Most Lethal Powerplay Units in the NHL

When you're given the man-advantage in hockey, you'd better capitalize.

I didn't necessarily mean to use that word, but it applies since the streaking Capitals possess the best power play in the NHL at the moment in terms of percentage. But what about in terms of being lethal?

Well, they're right there as well. Anytime you have Alex Ovechkin and an assist man like Nicklas Backstrom, you're going to be extremely dangerous with the extra skater.

The Caps are converting more than a quarter of their power play chances, but not every team that you might think has the talent for a lethal power play actually ranks high in the category.

For example, the Boston Bruins and Vancouver Canucks are ranked in the bottom third of the league on the power play—something that should alarm fans heading into the playoffs.

You can win without it, but it's not necessarily easy. So, which teams have the most lethal power play units? Find out in the latest NHL video and please let us know what you think in the comments.
