The Montreal Canadiens are in a good position as the 2013-14 season winds down. A playoff spot is within reach as they are eight points ahead of ninth-place Washington with nine games remaining.
Should the Canadiens qualify for the playoffs, they will need their star players to be at their best if they hope to move on past the first round. Carey Price, P.K. Subban, Max Pacioretty and Thomas Vanek will have to lead the way, much like they have for most of the season.
