Miroslav Satan: Just the Forward the Boston Bruins Need

It's still in the early stages of development. There hasn't been an official announcement from the Boston Bruins yet, and everything I have heard has only been rumored.

However, an announcement from a very credible Slovakian newspaper, hojek.sme.sk has announced that Miroslav Satan is about to sign with the Boston.

Since there is only one article that I have found to back this up so far, I'm going to spend less time talking about that and more talking about what it will do for the team.

Satan is a veteran winger that would fit well in Boston. He would bring a veteran player to a struggling offense. Right now, the Boston offense is 27th in the NHL, only scoring 2.5 goals per game.

There are a few different opinions on this topic, but I think that the Bruins have one of the youngest offenses in the NHL. Half of their rostered players (right now) are 25 years old or younger. These players would definitely benefit from a veteran.

Satan isn't the goal scorer that the Bruins need. Granted, he'll do a fine job putting the puck in the net, but he's more of a veteran leader that the younger players need.
