Duchene To Miss At Least 2 Games

According to the Avalanche's official Twitter, Duchene will miss the next two games and be re-evaluated after that.
Duchene has already missed Colorado's last two games after injuring his left knee during a game against Vancouver on March 16. Roger Millions of SportsNet Calgary reported hearing that the Avs' center would miss "7-10 days."
Colorado head coach Patrick Roy told Mike Acuri of the Denver Post on March 18 that Duchene's official status was "day-to-day," but that the team remained hopeful he would "be able to recover pretty fast."
Losing Duchene is a huge blow for the Avalanche, who are seven points behind Nashville for fourth place in the Central Division with nine games remaining. The 25-year-old leads the team in goals (29), surpassing his previous career high of 27 in 2010-11, and points (56).
