St. Louis Suffers Lower-Body Injury Monday, March 16 The team reported on its official Twitter account Monday that “Forward Martin St. Louis will be sidelined 10-14 days with a lower-body injury suffered last night vs. Florida.”

It is less than ideal timing for the Rangers considering the regular season is gradually winding to a close, but he will likely be back for the playoffs given that timetable. St. Louis has 20 goals and 27 assists on the season and has been an integral part of an offensive attack that ranks fourth in the league in goals per game.

Others will have to step up in his absence as the team battles for postseason positioning.
