Marian Gaborik

New York Rangers top forward Marian Gaborik took a hard hit from Maple Leafs forward Colby Armstrong. Gaborik left the game with a shoulder problem, and will not return to the game, according to TSN.

Not good news for the Rangers at all. If he is gone long term, the season is over for the Rangers and the season is three games in. I hope to have an update on him very soon.

UPDATE: He will be out two-to-three weeks with a separated shoulder according to John Tortorella. Still not good news.

Chris Drury

Drury, who just returned from a finger injury, was run over by teammate Michael Rozsival, re-injuring the finger. He has left the game, and a return is not likely (according to TSN).

Can this season get any better? Hope to have an update on him also.

UPDATE: Drury has broken another finger, according to Darren Dreger of TSN, but no news on which finger it was. He will be out for six weeks, according to Tortorella.
