Marc Savard: Why Would the Boston Bruins Trade Him?

As of the past week, there have been many rumors and speculations that the Boston Bruins are shopping their top point scorer, Marc Savard.

I'm not too sure how accurate the rumors are, but I just don't understand why they would want to trade Savard. 

I realize that the Bruins selected Tyler Seguin, a center, with the second pick of the entry draft, but that doesn't mean that the B's have to part ways with any of their top centers. 

The Bruins are loaded up the middle, it's one of their strong points. While I was watching the NHL Entry Draft, the announcers kept saying how the Bruins need to move one of their centers. I think that's just stupid. I feel like the announcers have no idea what they are talking about, and no wonder why they work for TSN and Versus. They even mentioned the Bruins trading Seguin, or not even selecting Segiun; was that supposed to be a joke?

Of all of the centers on the Bruins' roster, why would they want to deal away Savard? Yeah, he's got probably the most value and a very flexiable contract, but he's still a great player.
