Los Angeles Kings: Bob Miller to Call Rest of Stanley Cup Final…Sort of

Los Angeles Kings fans rejoice! Your voices have been heard and your comments have been read.

Long time Kings broadcaster Bob Miller will have his voice attached to the remainder of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Los Angeles Times sports columnist Helene Elliott sent this tweet out earlier today:

Kings spokesman says starting Wed and going forward they will record Bob Miller/Jim Fox calling game 'just so we have it at the very least'.

Both Miller and Fox have continued to be guests throughout the playoffs on the Kings' postgame show "Kings Live." Fans have been clamoring for Miller to jump into the live radio broadcast locally on KTLK AM 1150 in some capacity just so his voice would be part of this history the Kings are creating.

Make no mistake about it, Nick Nickson, the current radio broadcaster for the Kings, has been doing a stellar job on the dial since 1990. Prior to that he was Miller's broadcast partner on TV.

It's unclear how the recorded calls for Miller and Fox will be used. Elliott continued her post:
