The future of the Phoenix Coyotes continues to look brighter by the day.

The Coyotes are on the verge of becoming a power house in the Western Conference. If you think this year is a fluke season for the Coyotes think again.

The best is yet to come for the Phoenix Coyotes.

The future of the Coyotes currently skates in San Antonio, Texas.

Kyle Turris, 20, is currently playing for the San Antonio Rampage the AHL affiliate for the Phoenix Coyotes.

Turris is in a win-win situation.

The Coyotes do not need to rush bringing in their top prospect to their lineup. Instead, the third overall pick in the 2007 NHL draft can continue to strengthen his skills in San Antonio before he gets called up to the Coyotes.

Despite being 20-years-old, Turris has already appeared in 66 games registering eight goals and 13 assists.

There is a difference between last year’s Coyotes squad and this season’s team. Last year’s Coyotes were inexperienced and had a coach who is considered to be the greatest player of all-time, but couldn’t translate winning as a player into a coach.
