Jeremy Jacobs Please Give Up Ownership of The Boston Bruins Now.

The Boston Bruins haven't won Lord Stanley's Cup in 37 years and one of the biggest reasons is the owner.

Jeremy Jacobs has owned the Bruins since 1975, and since then, the Bruins have yet to bring the Cup back to where it belongs.

Now there are many different reasons why the Bruins have yet to win the Cup for so long, but most Bruins fans pin the blame all on one man. Jacobs bought the Bruins for a mere $10 million in 1975 and now the Bs are listed as being worth $230 million.

Of course you could say he bought the team when they weren't so good so that's why they haven't won since he took over, but that just isn't the case. The Bruins were just three years removed from winning it all in 1972 and were one of the premier teams in the NHL.

They continued to be one of the best teams all throughout the '70s and early '80s. They did have a couple of down seasons in the mid '80s but would return to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1988 and 1990 but lost to the Edmonton Oilers both times.
