Jaromir Jagr: 6 Reasons He Could Be a Disaster for the Flyers

When the news broke that Jaromir Jagr had signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Flyers many were shocked, but none more so than the fans of the Philadelphia Flyers and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Jagr played 11 seasons with the Penguins and, in that time, he became one of the most hated players of the none-too-reserved Flyers fans. When he donned the orange and black, many questioned the signing.

From the standpoint of the Flyers and Jagr, the move is strictly a business decision. Flyers GM Paul Holmgren sees a player who can help his team and Jagr sees a team that can possibly return him to Stanley Cup glory.
