Hurricanes vs. Flyers Game Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

The Philadelphia Flyers were all set to host the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night, Jan. 21, but after a snow storm hit the city the game has been postponed.

The Hurricanes official Twitter account reported the news shortly after the announcement was made:



Alicia DeFillipo of the Philadelphia Flyers confirms the teams will play on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m.:



Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports that the Senators will play the Flyers at Noon on Saturday, Jan. 25:



Carolina was already in Philadelphia before the game was postponed. According to the Hurricanes' release, Carolina planned on remaining in Philadelphia Tuesday night before traveling to take on the Buffalo Sabres Thursday night.   


But with the game being moved, the Canes will now spend two days in Philly before moving on to take on the Sabres.

Ironically enough, the Canes will be playing the Sabres in a makeup game from another contest that was postponed earlier this month on Jan. 7.
