Hockey Player Clotheslines Self After Forgetting His Stick Must Fit Through Door

All he could do was run away and leave that stick behind. It is a free stick now. 

Mitchell Skiba of the Alpena Flyers, a Tier III junior hockey team in Alpena, Michigan, was skating off the ice when he forgot to turn his stick vertically. 

His horizontal stick prevented him from going through the door, and with his forward momentum, Skiba ended up clotheslining himself.

The vine is mesmerizing:



We'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's such a fluid player that everything hockey comes second nature to him, ultimately resulting in this blooper moment.
