Have The Habs Luck Run Out?

It seems as though the Canadiens have run out of the bottled luck they were drinking during the first two rounds against the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins.  The Flyers jumped to a four-point lead during the first two periods before grabbing two more points in a shut out game. 

In a very physical game, both teams saw the penalty box and even some fights.  The atmosphere in the Wachovia Center was super charged as the Canadiens showed more emotion than they did all last series. 

Perhaps it was a bit of frustration over their lack of scoring or the fact that they now believe they can make it all the way to the Stanley Cup Final. But the attitude really didn’t look flattering with the red, white, and blue colors.

The Canadiens seemed to fall apart from the first drop of the puck and had two extremely weak periods with silly penalties that could have been prevented.  With an air of desperation when ...
