Habs Leave Pittsburgh with a Bang: Flashback from the Playoffs

It was the first Montreal vs. Pittsburgh game since the Canadiens eliminated the Penguins in last years playoffs, and in Pittsburgh's new arena the Habs were not shy to brake the ice. 

Playing a very tight first period the Habs were able to take the lead 15 or so minutes into the game, giving them a little bit of breathing room after their loss against their biggest rivals in the league, the Toronto Maple Leafs. Mike Cammalleri got his first goal of the season in his first game of the season after being suspended for the first game. It wasn't long into the second though that Crosby and his crew tied it up, giving Malkin a splendid pass that he had no problem completed.

Taking quite a few tough reports after the previous game, Carey Price was no doubt nervous, but you couldn't tell. Throughout the second period he made 11 saves, left and right keeping the Habs at a 1-1 game. 

With only just over three minutes left in the game, the Penguins were up by one. The hated Carey Price stayed strong making key saves, keeping his team in the game when Cammalleri and Gomez took charge and scored two goals in less than one minute. The last minute of ...
