Montreal Canadiens winger George Parros left the team's season-opening game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after getting knocked unconscious during a fight with Leafs winger Colton Orr.
The two enforcers engaged with one another as Orr and Carter Ashton were trying to score on a two-on-one break early in the third period. As referees were approaching to stop the bout, Parros fell to the ground and drove his shoulder and head into the Bell Centre ice.
