Philadelphia Flyers center Brayden Schenn had some bad luck against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night.
Schenn was on the receiving end of a skate to the stomach, which left a nasty gash. After getting checked by Schenn, Devils wing Dainius Zubrus' skate somehow got underneath Schenn's jersey.
Like any hockey player would do, Schenn got some treatment and returned to the bench.
UPDATE: Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 10:25 p.m. ET
Not only did Schenn return to action, but he wound up scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Flyers a 3-2 victory.
The Flyers' official website has video of Schenn's game-winner.
