Superstar Evgeni Malkin left the game with an injury after going into the boards. The Pittsburgh Penguins had more details in the immediate aftermath:

Losing Malkin for an extended period of time would certainly be worrisome for the Penguins. He already had a goal in the game against Detroit before exiting and is a primary reason why they have won seven of eight.
