Every NHL Team’s Worst Contract for the 2015-16 Season

The marginal increase in the NHL's salary-cap ceiling for 2015-16 forced general managers to spend more frugally on their player payrolls. However, every team enters the upcoming season carrying at least one bad contract.

Some players, like Los Angeles' Dustin Brown (pictured above), were signed before their performance began to significantly decline. Others, like Chicago's Bryan Bickell, were paid far more than their actual worth. All of the contracts on this list take up invaluable salary-cap space, making it difficult for teams to invest in more affordable depth.
