Eric Boulton Video: Watch Devils’ LW Drop Sharks’ Douglas Murray with One Punch

Eric Boulton is a journeyman brawler in the NHL and last night he squared off with the San Jose Sharks' tough guy, Douglas Murray.

Murray found out why the New Jersey Devils invested in the fighter.

There was no question that these two men were going to fight at some point during the game and when they finally met near center ice, the crowd was on their feet ready for a brawl.

What they got was a one-punch knockout victory.

After dancing around each other, the two brawlers grab each others jerseys and start yanking to gain the upper hand in the fight.

Murray throws the first punch which is a wild overhand right, but he leaves his face open, leaning in for Boulton to capitalize.

Boulton is just too good not to take advantage of an opening that wide.

With the window of opportunity open, Boulton lands a direct shot to the right cheek bone of Murray with a strong right cross sending the Shark to the ice. Boulton throws another punch as the duo falls, but it doesn’t find the mark.
