The Detroit Red Wings closed out the first month of their season on Saturday, October 30 with a dominating win 5-2 against the Nashville Predators.

This capped off a pretty successful start in which Detroit went on to finish the month 6-2-1.

As the Red Wings continue on into the second month of the season, everything seems to be falling into place, but at the same time, some questions revolve around the team.

The biggest question surrounding the team is can they play a full 60-minute hockey game?

So far, the Red Wings have come out sluggish to start games and this has resulted in early deficits to come back from as the game wears on.

Most of the time, Detroit looks sluggish but escapes either tied or up on the scoreboard.

The power play hasn't been the best.

This is something that Mike Babcock is trying to change. Detroit currently sits 11th in the league with an 18.6 percent conversion rate.
