Detroit Red Wings Stay Alive and Make Franchise History

After falling behind in the series 3-0, the Detroit Red Wings showed that it was still alive for now after Game 4

Johan Franzen led the Wings with four goals and two assists as they routed the San Jose Sharks 7-1, setting two franchise records: playing the greatest play-off outing in franchise history and passing the team playoff record of five points that had been tied by Wing legends Steve Yzerman and Norm Ullman

Along with the two records Franzen set he also tied with nine other players for third most amount of points in NHL History with six.

Before the game, the Wings players have stated that they believe they could make history and come back to win this series after falling behind 3-0. With tonight's performance should we doubt them?

Johan's performance has came at a time when it was needed most, and the Wings have now outscored their opponents in elimination games in the 2010 playoffs 13-2.

Things have taken an interesting turn for Game Five in San Jose, and if the Detroit plays like they did tonight, they may join the 1942 Toronto Mapleleafs and 1975 New York Islanders as the only teams to come b ...
