Dear San Jose, Chicago and Vancouver: Be Scared

The San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks, and Vancouver Canucks are three teams that other Western Conference teams aim to be. Well, actually, thinking of it, the Western Conference teams, especially those three, all aim to be the Red Wings.

Coming out of the gate this year in Sweden, Detroit started off slow, resembling a team that has played too much hockey and hasn't had a real break.

They have gone to the Conference Finals the last three years, Stanley Cup the last two years, winning one of them. There is no such thing as summer vacation for this team.

As the year went on, the Wings got more and more injured. But, with every sad story, there is a good one. The dominance the Red Wings had over the San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks.

If Detroit ends the season right now, where they sit, they will be matched up against the Vancouver Canucks. A team most teams would be scared to face in the first round, but not Detroit.

Detroit won three of four meetings they had this year against the Western Canadian team.

But it doesn't stop there.
