Dallas Stars vs. Anaheim Ducks: Brad Richards and Nicklas Grossman Still Injured

It is no real surprise to Dallas Stars fans that neither star center Brad Richards nor defenseman Nicklas Grossman will be taking part in tonight's game against the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center.

Both players have been out since the February 13th game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Grossman suffered a hip flexor in the first period and took no further part in the game, while Richards took a hit in the last shift of the game and ended up with concussion-like symptoms. This will be the eighth game that neither player has suited up for the Dallas Stars.

Today's announcement is a result of neither player taking part in morning skate in Anaheim. Richards' injury—like many concussions this season (such as Sidney Crosby's)—has no timetable for a return and thus it's proving difficult to pinpoint just when he will return. Grossman is currently listed as day-to-day and his return could possibly be sooner than his teammate's, but that's not for certain at this time.
