The Dallas Stars were set to release the designs for a new logo and corresponding jerseys on June 4, but it appears a leaked photo of the new logo(s) has leaked on the team's iPhone app, giving fans an early glimpse of what their team is going to look like on the ice next season.
If you don't want to see the new logo before the official release, now would be a good time to divert your eyes.
Jason Brough of Pro Hockey Talk was amongst the reporters who got his hands on the new logo designs, as did Dale Lamontagne, who posted this picture of the new logo on Twitter once it was confirmed that there had been a leak:
For the Boys also had a look at both designs that were seen on the app, taking a chance to poke fun at the notion that it looks a bit like a national coffee chain that patrons might be familiar with (via Twitter):
