Daily Fantasy Hockey 2015: NHL DraftKings Studs and Duds for March 17

With another day of NHL action upon us, the playoff push continues for a number of teams. There are nine games listed on the docket for good ole St. Patrick's Day, and a number of players are just waiting to be discovered in a pot of escrow at the end of commissioner Gary Bettman's rainbow. 

While every day is a great day to participate in a daily fantasy league with DraftKings, Tuesday is a particularly great day to get involved because there are 18 teams in action. Having a big pool to choose from will allow for some true diamonds in the rough.

With a $50,000 salary cap in mind and some four-leaf clovers in my free hand, here are your DraftKings studs and duds for March 17.

Center: Mark Scheifele, Winnipeg Jets ($4,500)



The Winnipeg Jets are valiantly fighting to keep a playoff spot, and Mark Scheifele has been a key contributor as of late. The 6'2", 195-pound 22-year-old pivot has eight points in his last 10 games and a 3.5 fantasy-points-per-game average.
