After a very light Monday schedule, the NHL is back with a bang Tuesday with 11 games scheduled. With more games on the docket, there are more players up for grabs, and there is a higher potential to snag some amazing bargains. However, there is also the chance for overpayment, and that is something you will want to avoid at all costs.
With a salary cap of $50,000, every dollar counts, so here are some studs and duds to consider so that you get the most bang for your buck.
Studs:
Ryan Johansen, Columbus Blue Jackets ($5,900)
Center Ryan Johansen is having a career year for the Columbus Blue Jackets and is proving that last year's success wasn't a fluke.
The Blue Jackets' top pivot has six goals and nine points in his last 10 games, and he has increased his fantasy points per game average by 0.60. Johansen is a great bargain at $5,900, and adding him will allow you to pick up quality points while still having funds to spend in other areas.
