Daily Fantasy Hockey 2015: NHL DraftKings Primer for May 5

May 5th, 2015 by Steve Silverman Leave a reply »

The Minnesota Wild and the Calgary Flames have serious business ahead of them Tuesday night. Both teams lost the first two games of their respective conference semifinal playoff series on the road, and if they have any realistic hope of lifting the Stanley Cup in June, they need to win their games at home.

Many expected the Wild to at least split in Chicago, but they were unable to mount a significant assault on Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford when the game was on the line. They should get a rousing ovation from their home fans, but it may be difficult to overcome the Blackhawks' star power.

The Flames face a more difficult task against the Anaheim Ducks. Head coach Bruce Boudreau's team is 6-0 in the postseason, and the Ducks have to be prepared for a Flames team that will be more aggressive at home than it was in Southern California.

We have a $50,000 budget, and we are planning to give you a winning DraftKings lineup in your Tuesday night attempt to win your fantasy matchup.

Centers: Ryan Kesler, Anaheim Ducks ($6,800) and Sean Monahan, Calgary Flames ($5,800)
