Corey Crawford Injury: Updates on Blackhawks Star’s Foot and Return

The Chicago Blackhawks are embroiled in a battle for control of the competitive Western Conference Central Division, but they will have to stay afloat without the services of goalie Corey Crawford for the foreseeable future.

According to the Blackhawks' official Twitter account, head coach Joel Quenneville announced that his star goaltender could miss as many as three weeks:



Per Chris Kuc of The Chicago Tribune, Crawford suffered an off-ice foot injury that has left him in a walking boot:

According to Kuc, Crawford didn't provide any further details regarding the manner which he hurt his foot:

The 29-year-old Crawford is enjoyed a strong campaign with a 12-5-1 record, 1.87 goals against average and .929 save percentage.
