Colby Armstrong to Pittsburgh Penguins: Yay Or Nay?

When the Montreal Canadiens ousted the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs, fans started asking questions as to what the organization need in order to win the Stanley Cup again.

Well the obvious choices were wingers and defensemen.

I looked back at my old articles to see who I think fits the mold for this concept.  Now I'm deciding about the one argument that seems to have media and fans alike asking more questions.

Colby Armstrong.

He won the hearts of Pittsburgh fans as well as being Sidney Crosby's first friend on the team. Army has strong ties to Pittsburgh that include the fact that his wife is from there.

Army isn't going back to Atlanta, that is something I do know.

So now we have to wonder where is he going?

Will he take less money to move back to a winning team, where there is family and where he began his career?

I think he will.

But it's up to Penguin management to decide if they want him back.

Putting him on a line with Sid or Geno would bring confidence back to his game.  He had a tough 2009-2010 season that lowered his valu ...
