Justin Williams got the Kings going offensively, with a goal less than four minutes into the game. That proved to be all the momentum the Kings would need, as Voynov made it 2-0 in the second period and the Kings cruised to a 3-1 victory with Dwight King adding an empty-net goal.

Bryan Bickell scored the lone goal for the Blackhawks, who put up only 20 shots on goal for the entire game with just three in the second period.

The Kings are now 8-0 at home in the playoffs in these playoffs.
