Chicago Blackhawks: Searching For Win Number One In 2010-11

It has become pretty clear that the road to getting the first win will be the toughest. Many players have made the comment that teams will be out playing their best on a nightly basis against the defending champions.

It was a 4-3 overtime loss that left a sour taste in many mouths in Colorado. Many knew the biggest test would come back at home where many would be emotionally on a high following a banner ceremony against a very good Detroit team.

While the game had its ups and downs, it has became very apparent that the chemistry is unrecognizable. Obvious comparisons can’t be made to a team that was so closely knit a season ago, but if one was to find a flaw right now it would be that.

At times Saturday it seemed as if the top line was lethargic. Puck movement has not been as fast and precise, while simple decisions of put-ting a puck on net versus turning the puck over are happening more and more.
