Ccolorado Avalanche New Old Star Forsberg Looks Good Despite Loss To Columbus

Peter Forsberg played 17:38 minutes tonight and finished with no points, recorded one shot, and was a minus-two.

"Too bad we lost," Forseberg said. "It felt like it's the first time I've played in about 11 months, so it was pretty hard. I thought we had a couple of chances but overall it was so-so actually. I could have played better but it gets better one game at a time" he added.

"He looks good. I think he feels good," linemate Milan Hejduk said, adding he believes will be able to play at a high level for the rest of the season. "There is no reason to think otherwise."

Coach Joe Sacco said, "Forsberg was arguably our best player."

Although Forsberg was a minus-two, he was on the ice when his teammate John Micheal Liles should have got an assist on Derick Brassard's goal that made it 2-1 Columbus, and for the empty net goal at the end of the game.

Nice to see you back Peter.
