The Chicago Blackhawks raised their Stanley Cup banner and their fans raised the roof.

They also started the 2013-14 season in proper form as they overcame a third-period deficit and defeated the Washington Capitals 6-4.

Defenseman Johnny Oduya scored a late third-period goal to give the Blackhawks the lead and then Marian Hossa was credited with an empty-net goal to close out the scoring.
