Capitals Beat Rangers in Game 1 on Goal with 1 Second Left

With overtime just seconds away, the New York Rangers suffered a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the Washington Capitals in Game 1 of their second-round series in the 2015 Stanley Cup playoffs.

The Capitals' Joel Ward scored with just more than one second remaining in regulation to give his team a 2-1 lead. Of course, it turned out to be the game-winning goal.
