Calgary Mayor Sings ‘Frozen’s’ ‘Let It Go’ After Losing Bet with Anaheim Mayor

May 25th, 2015 by Kyle Newport Leave a reply »

As a result of the Anaheim Ducks knocking the Calgary Flames out of the 2015 Stanley Cup playoffs, Calgary mayor Naheed Nenshi recently found himself having to perform Frozen's "Let It Go" in front of an audience.

Nenshi made a bet with Anaheim mayor Tom Tait before the Flames and the Ducks met in the Western Conference semifinals. Anaheim won the series in five games, meaning that the Calgary mayor lost the bet.

Well, Nenshi paid up recently. The 43-year-old mayor got in the Disney spirit by putting on a throwback Ducks sweater and, with some help, sang "Let It Go."

The Flames had helped Nenshi win a bet with Vancouver mayor Gregor Robertson in the first round. However, his team couldn't come through for him this time around.
