Bruins vs. Jets: Boston Looks to Start Another Win Streak After Red Wings Loss

The Boston Bruins' 10-game winning streak was snapped by the Detroit Red Wings on Friday as the defending Stanley Cup champs lost 3-2 in a shootout. However, they will have little time to think about their loss because the Winnipeg Jets will soon play their first game in Boston since November 21, 1995.

Boston went from having the worst record in the Eastern Conference to first place in the Northeast division during their winning streak, but they must be ready for a talented Jets team on Saturday.

"We’re playing a good team. Winnipeg is a team that we’re aware of some of their players," said Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron. "They’re young and they’re starting to build their good core of players. so it’s going to be a tough game..."

The Jets are tied for third in the Southeast division and have several talented players. Young forward Evander Kane is starting to become a real star, and leads the team with eight points.

Winnipeg also has strong leadership from their captain Andrew Ladd, who won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010.
