Bruins, Stars Fight as Campell, Ott Drop Gloves As Game Begins

Things got a little chippy right from the start of Thursday night's Stars-Bruins game in Boston, thanks to some help from old "friends" Steve Ott and Gregory Campbell. 

These two players took part in a vicious check from Ott back when Campbell was with the Florida Panthers and apparently, the Bruin has a fairly long memory. 

The two appeared to be jawing a bit before the opening faceoff and as soon as the puck dropped, so did Ott's and Campbell's gloves. 

From the start of the fight, it was clear that the Stars winger had the upper hand, as Ott delivered quick jabs and hooks to Campbell's head and torso. 

Midway through their clash, Ott delivers a nasty forearm shiver to Campbell's cheek and nose, which splits the winger's face open and causes blood to quickly cover both his face and jersey. 

By the time the referees were able to put a stop to things, it was clear that Ott had won this round, as Campbell left the ice covered in blood.
