Bruins Put a Beatdown on Ottawa: Boston Shows They Are Tough To Beat on Home Ice

True to a team that is looking to show everyone in the league that they are a tough team to play against, the Boston Bruins last night did what every good team in the NHL should do—beat the teams that you are supposed to beat. 

That's exactly what they did last night, with a 6-0 win over the Ottawa Senators.

Boston's Patrice Bergeron kept the hot streak going and lead the way with his first career hat trick and was all over the ice last night. He backed-checked and fore-checked all night long and no one was getting in his way. His shot selection was as good as he has had in his career and the game looks like it is just slowing down for him. 

A great sign for a 25 year old who is falling into the prime of his career.

Line mate Brad Marchand recorded two points and was a +3 with three shots on net. He has been very consistent as of late and is jelling really well with Bergeron and Recchi. This line looks very much like that playoff line you can count on.
