Broadcaster Takes Puck to the Forehead, Returns to Booth After Getting Stitches

March 29th, 2015 by Kyle Newport Leave a reply »

Brian Engblom played 10 seasons in the NHL, so it's no surprise that the NBC broadcaster was able to continue working after he suffered a nasty injury on the job.

During Sunday's game between the San Jose Sharks and the Pittsburgh Penguins, an errant puck struck Engblom in the forehead while he was down near the ice.

Like any hockey player would, Engblom got treated and went right back to work.

It's great to see that he was able to walk away from the incident without a serious injury.
