Brett Connolly Injury: Updates on Bruins Winger’s Finger and Return

The Boston Bruins announced Wednesday that recently acquired winger Brett Connolly will be sidelined for an extended period of time after suffering a finger injury in practice.

Julien Speaks on Connolly's Injury Thursday, March 5 Bruins coach Claude Julien spoke about Connolly, after learning the winger would miss six weeks with a finger injury, via the team's official Twitter account:

The former member of the Tampa Bay Lightning has yet to make his debut for the Bruins. He had 12 goals and three assists in 50 games before the deadline deal that sent him north. The 2010 sixth overall pick was expected to provide some secondary scoring for Boston.
