Boston Bruins vs. Toronto Maple Leafs: Live Score, Updates and Analysis

Boston-1, Toronto-0 FINAL

The Boston Bruins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 1-0 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto this evening.

The Leafs were hoping to have better luck against the Bruins than they did last year when they dropped all six meetings with the B's.

The Bruins, however, had other ideas and they outplayed the Leafs for large chunks of the game. Only some stellar goal tending from James Reimer kept this game close as the Bruins out shot the Leafs 34-21.

Tuukka Rask only had to make 21 saves for the shutout and the Leafs had a lot of trouble getting the puck to the net.

The Bruins now move to 6-1-1 on the season and they are off for a few days before heading to Montreal to take on the Canadiens on Wednesday.

The Maple Leafs fall to 4-4-0 on the season. They host the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.

Thanks to everyone who stayed with me during this game. Not a lot of scoring to talk about, but an entertaining game in Toronto all the same.
