Montreal Canadiens 4, Boston Bruins 0, FINAL

The Montreal Canadiens got two goals from Thomas Vanek while Carey Price made 26 saves to earn the shutout as Montreal blanked the Boston Bruins 4-0.

The Montreal Canadiens came out flying early and took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Lars Eller just 2:11 into the game. The Bruins managed to regroup, but the closest they came to scoring was when Loui Eriksson hit the crossbar.

The Bruins were aggressive early in the second period but couldn't beat Price. Then Max Pacioretty's breakaway goal at 15:24 increased the Montreal lead to 2-0. Vanek scored on a power play 2:15 later to give the Canadiens a 3-0 lead late in the second stanza.

An empty-net goal by Thomas Vanek with just under four minutes left iced the win for Montreal.

The series is now all even at 3-3 with the seventh and deciding game scheduled for Wednesday night in Boston. The winner of that game will advance to the Eastern Conference Final against the winner of the Rangers-Penguins series.
