Bobby Ryan Wishes To Remain With Anaheim Ducks

Well there it is. Stop the presses. Bobby Ryan does not want to go anywhere. He wants to be a Duck.

"I’m not asking for a trade. I want to be here in Anaheim. This is where I want to be."

"I don’t want people to think I’m holding out or I’m going to hold out,” he said. ”That’s not the case. We’re just trying to find something that works for both sides right now," said Ryan to the Orange County Register.

Bobby Ryan has been part of the biggest trade rumors this summer. Earlier in June, Ryan went to the media about his concerns on not getting a deal done. In response, Ducks GM Bob Murray went to the media voicing his displeasure dealing with Ryan, who turned down a $25M offer. Many had speculated that he would hold out and that he would either be given an offer sheet or traded.

Duck fans have little to worry about anymore. The kid wants to play in Anaheim and is open to negotiations with Ducks' management.
