St. Louis 4, Dallas 1 (St. Louis leads series 3-2) 

The St. Louis Blues earned a 3-2 series lead against the Dallas Stars on Saturday with a 4-1 victory at the American Airlines Center. 

Robby Fabbri, Dmitrij Jaskin, Troy Brouwer and Paul Stastny scored in St. Louis' second road win of the Western Conference semifinal series. 

Fabbri opened the scoring six minutes into the first period during a frantic stanza of offensive pressure on both ends of the ice. Dallas leveled the contest through Alex Goligoski's equalizer, but it was the only goal the host team could muster as St. Louis goalie Brian Elliott made 27 saves on 28 shots. 

Jaskin, who saw his first postseason action on Saturday, put the Blues in the lead for good in the second period as he followed up his own rebound on the left side of the net. Troy Brouwer added to the advantage with a goal from close range. 

Stastny finished off Game 5 with an empty-net goal toward the end of the third period. The Stars pulled Kari Lehtonen with four minutes to go in an attempt to get something started in the attacking zone.
