Blackhawks 6, Blues 3—Final

The Chicago Blackhawks toppled the St. Louis Blues 6-3 on Saturday night at the United Center to force a Game 7.

Andrew Ladd needed just four minutes to give Chicago a lead, but St. Louis responded with three goals in 4:42. Scottie Upshall, Alex Pietrangelo and Vladimir Tarasenko found the net for the Blues.

In the second period, Artem Anisimov, Trevor van Riemsdyk and Dale Weise pushed the Blackhawks back to the front. Andrew Shaw tallied a late third-period insurance goal, and Marian Hossa soon followed with an empty-netter.

Ladd and Hossa each registered a goal and an assist, while Jonathan Toews and Artemi Panarin both notched a pair of helpers. Corey Crawford stopped the last 21 shots he faced.

The first-round Western Conference matchup is now tied at three wins apiece. Bleacher Report provided scoring updates and highlights.
