Blackhawks’ Corey Crawford Takes On Babysitting Role, Hangs Out with Young Fan

After hearing the story of a fan named Ben, Corey Crawford and a couple of Chicago Blackhawks teammates wanted to do something that would make the youngster's dream come true.

Off came the pads, on went the babysitter hat.

Ben was born with a condition that makes it hard for him to use his arms and legs. Knowing he's a huge Blackhawks fan, his babysitter Emilie set out to get some of the players to come meet Ben—and they were more than happy to take the time to do it.

Crawford—Ben's favorite player—showed up to the house to surprise his fan. Then, to make him a member of the team, the goalie presented Ben with a jersey. They wasted no time putting the jersey to use.

Ben and Crawford went outside to play hockey, but little did the Blackhawks fan know that Chicago's Andrew Shaw and Teuvo Teravainen were looking to get in on the game.
